International Merit Scholarship

Recipients will receive a 25% reduction in their tuition fees for their first year of study into their chosen program, up to a maximum of two semesters or eight courses.

Global Citizens Scholarship

The scholarship offers a reduction of between 15% and 30% of the tuition fee for the minimum standard duration of the scholars chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Commencing an undergraduate qualification

  • Year 12 overseas student with a minimum raw ATAR equivalent of 80 for a 15% scholarship.
  • Year 12 overseas student with a minimum raw ATAR equivalent of 90 for a 30% scholarship.

Commencing a postgraduate qualification

  • Grade point average (GPA) of minimum 5.0/7 or equivalent to receive a 15% scholarship.
  • Grad point average (GPA) of minimum 6.0/7 or equivalent to receive a 30% scholarship.

Scholarship Criteria

  • Available for students commencing in 2020 only;
  • Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;

Global Academic Excellence Scholarship

Each Faculty will award only two scholarships of a 50% reduction of the tuition fee to the applicant in their faculty with the highest score above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8.

The selection process for The 2020 University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships is competitive, with academic achievement forming the main basis for scholarship selection. The scholarship covers 25% of tuition fees that will be deducted from postgraduate coursework tuition fees for the duration of the program. Each deduction will be applied by the Griffith University census date of each relevant trimester of the program.
