Can I stay in the UK after completing my studies?

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson had announced the return of the TWO YEAR POST-STUDY WORK VISA in 2020 for international students. This means when you study an undergraduate or postgraduate degree/course in UK, you can stay in the UK for further 2 years after completing the course in order to search for jobs.

In 2011 when Theresa May was home secretary, she had abolished the two-year post study work visa. As a result, students could only stay for 4-6 months after their study. However, now you will be able to stay for 2 more years after the course finishes. During this time you can easily find job or get engaged in other less remunerative activities like internships to build your contacts and network.
